Business need

As a smart locks vendor for bicycles and scooters, Cruise startup was looking for a software engineering partner to develop a digital shop for bicycle/scooter renting and sharing. Striving for mobility in all aspects, the shop has to work for iOS and Android users willing to find the closest Cruise bicycle or scooter next to them, unlock using smartphone cameras, and leave vehicles anyplace. To encourage customers to rent out their personally owned vehicles to Cruise community members and make a profit, the platform has to operate as a marketplace.

Solution

Started with elaborate business analysis, system architecture, and wireframes, Prosperity Software has developed a cross-platform mobile application (iOS, Android) on React Native. For ease of use, the application was equipped with native BLE (Bluetooth low energy) technology to provide lock/unlock functionality. Handling geo and live location tracking best, Python was chosen as the primary language to proceed with such data.

The project infrastructure is hosted on cloud (AWS) to enhance the application performance and achieve effortless development further.
