US-based wellness startup sought for partnership with a reliable software company to create a mobile-based platform for career, relationships and productivity development in a fast track to participate in future funding rounds. The platform aimed to combine coaches, thought leaders, and end-users of any industry to set goals, receive curated talks on a regular basis and corresponding content, like audio books, meditations, visualizations, articles, etc. to level up in every aspect. Users have to be assisted via phone and get access to coaches via email submission.

Solution

A kick-off meeting at the project start helped to agree on how to work as a team with US-based Product owners, what are the basic product requirements, what is the timeline and what would be included into the MVP.

Prosperity Software elaborated more on the product specifications, developed a mobile app architecture for the future MVP. The development process was splitted into shorter phases, 1-week Sprints to evaluate results and make necessary changes to design, project scope, etc. accordingly. A project manager on the Prosperity Software side was accountable for the budget, timeline and scope tracking. A software test engineer ensured the product quality throughout all development phases.

Native iOS application Prosperity Software developed in short terms includes:

  • Single sign-on to securely authenticate users
  • Responsive design to utilise the application on iPhones, iPads
  • Audio player with .mp3 supported format to play meditations and talks
  • Calendar integrations to schedule sessions. Performed in a web browser using external service – “You can book me”
  • Integrated chat to communicate with community members and coaches
  • Inn-app purchases to subscribe for commercial programs

Next plans:

  • Videos integrations and opportunity to record audio
  • Android version
